the experience over all was good, and the tour guide was knowledgeable, however, one of the locations to visit is the Blue Eye, they tell you that the sun has to be in the right place for this to be shown to any effect and my guess would be that this is when the sun reaches its zenith, so why would you want to send a team/tour in at least 2 hours before it was ever going to be in the right place what we got to see was a hole in the rocks with some water in the bottom ?

The guide Heber was brilliant! He explained the day to us and was very informative throughout his time with us. He highlighted various interesting places and made us feel welcomed. However, there was a long queue for the Blue Eye and we felt 'rushed' due to the other Tui Tour drivers wanting to hurry Heber so they could fit their next 4x4 tour later in the day.

The guide and driver were both excellent. The guide was knowledgeable and kept us entertained. The drive was very competent and we felt safe. Less to see in afternoon (no blue eye, little mirage), maybe discount price? Although overall reasonable price.

The points of interest we were meant to see had very or none interest like buracona hole wich is just a hole. instead where we could get some information was the garden at buracona place but instead of doing an small walk through the garden the guide jusy told us to wait doing nothing. The descriptipn talks about getting a glimpse of spargos but we didnt stop at espaegos. It also taljs about exploring murdeira but we did nothing. Only interesting thing was pedra de lume.

Expensive for what it was. The staff are a credit to TUI as they tried their best to engage us in what was on offer, however, it did feel like it was the most expensive taxi ride we'd taken. Sadly, the weather wasn't on our side (cloudy and humid) so was unable to enjoy our tme at the Blue Eye museum and felt quite rushed at the salt mines as we were literally in there for 10 mins.
