Sites & Bites: Fornalutx village tour with artisan ice-cream

The first thing to do is go for a wander through the village's narrow streets – it's the best way to get a good look at all the stone houses here. There's a bunch of shops and cafes here, as well. Speaking of food, before you leave here, you'll have the chance to sample an ensaimada, a traditional sweet pastry.

After your free time in Fornalutx, there's one more stop you'll make before heading back to your accommodation, a gelateria. Heladeria Fet a Soller is an artisan ice-cream shop that is known for offering up Majorcan-specific flavours in ice-cream form. Almond, lemon and orange are just a few of the heavy hitters this place has a reputation for, with the fresh fruits sourced from the Soller valley. Alongside sampling some of the creamy stuff yourself, you'll also be shown around the shop with a tour.
